Greetings and salutations!

It's good to meet you all!

This #Poetry Pen,

Is like a writer's den.

Just perfect for the fall.

I've never read a poem before,

About crab one had for dinner,

But let me say,

Is was better than OK.

I think it was a winner!

Prepare not to be astounded.

My poetry isn't that great.

Just meter and rhyme,

And a stitch of time,

Is what I serve on my plate.

I come from a family of poets.

Two members published a book,

Of their deep southern history,

(so much was a mystery),

I still often take a look.

So, once again, I'll say hello,

And hope to know you better.

I'll try not to blink,

While we write what we think,

As personal as a handwritten letter.
