King FriscoI'll..
King Frisco I'll tell you a tale, Once kingdom surveyed, Frisco: King of the realm. As years, they went past, Then came the day, There are many things I've missed, Frisco: King of the realm. NAV vet #Poetrypen https://uploads.disquscdn.c...
Of a cat known well,
Whose deeds were self-indulging.
He came to stay,
In a house far away,
An attitude quite "curmudging".
The attitude stayed,
His reign came into viewing.
"I'll make them mine,
With this purr sublime.
Won't know what they are doing."
Head of the house.
Paw at the helm.
"Make them know now.
It's the reason I meow.
I'm in charge!"
His kingdom grew fast,
More him than of we.
"I'll decide when you eat,
When you laugh,
When you sleep,
Even when you pee."
When his "meow" went away.
A frail king stood before me.
I swaddled him so,
(just so you ought to know)
A raspy purr, his final decree.
Some of longing, some gist,
But of this, I tell you truthful.
Never man, known of beast,
Could experience such peace,
As this wondrous, loving armful.
Head of the house.
Paw at the helm.
"Make them know now.
It's the reason I meow.
I'm in charge!"
