The Sound Of Online Silence

We live with a new kind of violence

With a click or a comment we can be silenced

Posting with paranoia is not enjoyable

Online flag gunners target us as deplorable

Even when there is no malice?

Disqus wonkiness reigns their posting palace

DNC approves of mobs online or in the streets

But our side too peaceful, polite, discrete

So we watch as the loud and proud and ruthless

Take power and rule over us

Until The Sound Of The Silencer comes

To save us, rescue us, change the outcome

Of space exploding and crashing

The night sky lives

The shooting stars sing as they die

Heaven's fireworks are our lullaby

A universal song from above by our Father Of Love
