Winter Wonderland by Donna Rae Lands

Burial across a winter wonderland.... as I tried to find your place...

I felt sadly lost and empty in this lonely space....

Wandering amongst the Angels... felt so serene...

All the while, peace was wrapping around this broken dream...

No icon of crosses to bare my child...can be wrong

Only strength to gather for the warrior's song...

Life is for the living so we must go on...

We carry this wreath, starting every morning dawn...

I came again and walked straight to your wreath...

No forgotten memories like those through a sheath...

I bent down to see your name...

I cried for all the forgotten abused women's blame...

Lust for life is always the truth, for there is no desire for death...

Upside-down books were the clue of your lasting breath...

Missing books led to the key....

I'm so sorry, he took your destiny...
