A VALENTINE'S DAY POEM FOR MY LOVE

Nearly thirty nine wonderful years,

Since the day we said "I do".

Over fourteen thousand days,

And those two words still ring true.

Each laugh, each tear we've shared,

Has brought our lives together;

An everlasting bonding

To outlast all kinds of weather.

I can't remember my life before,

We two were so entwined.

The only thing that matters is

You said that you'd be mine.

As we grow older, side by side,

More thankful I become.

My friend and my lover,

(there could be no other)

And the two became as one.

Happy Valentine's Day, sweetheart!

Your day be blessed from above.

You are always in my heart,

So my heart is filled with love.
