 Partial Eclipse Of The Heart

Once we were broken

Separated, apart and lost

The Earth stood between us

Blocked our light, hid many in the shadows

But this too passed

Because we were rescued

Our brokeness healed

Our debts to all and to each other paid

We lifted our heads up high and smiled at the new dawn

At the eternal light that would never leave us

And we found wrapped in the love

The unity that on Earth we had only dreamed of
